A note is placed at the center of a piece of paper of same size and everything is folded in half. A knife is pushed between the two objects and the blade comes out visibly from the opposite side.
So with a rap the knife is dragged sideways cutting the paper along the centre fold. To finish he shows how the note, however, is perfectly intact and is then handed to the owner.
