The magician shows a red silk and a white silk, and pushes them inside a tube made from a rolled up piece of paper. The ends of the silks are clearly visible protruding from either side of the tube. He then proceeds to cut the tube in half, thus cutting the silks in half too. After showing the two cut silks, and then puts them together. Incredibly the silk become whole again but now they will be half red and half white!
